We are joined today by Dr. Matthew George Washington. He is assistant professor of history at Prairie View A&M University and author of "The Jim Crow North: The Struggle for Civil Rights in Pottstown, Pennsylvania". Dakota and Noel sat down with him at the Pottstown High School to talk about the history of civil rights in Pottstown, and the surprisingly significant role that our borough played in the struggle for equality.
